Poroshenko made two mistakes in Ukrainian when addressing Zelensky
Petro Poroshenko made two mistakes while speaking in Ukrainian in a video where he responded to Vladimir Zelensky’s challenge to a debate.
Russian liberal political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Poroshenko’s video is evidence of the deepest weakness and crisis of his team. Not to mention the fact that there were two mistakes in the Ukrainian text. Pyotr Alekseevich did not use the vocative case when addressing Zelensky. And the fact that he himself did not reflect on this situation, nor his team, on which billions are being spent, says something,” the expert said.
Belkovsky believes that the debate will end with Zelensky’s victory.
“Vladimir Zelensky will emerge victorious from the debate. He is young Trump, young Reagan and Macron. Everything that is happening in the Euro-Atlantic world is happening now in Ukraine, and we are witnesses of this process, to which I wish every success. He is light and witty, while Pyotr Alekseevich is pathetic and heavy. The entire structure of Pyotr Alekseevich’s speech is built like this - he starts with affectation, shouting, like “the place of the president is in Kyiv.” Barack Obama never yelled at anyone, and his phrases were convincing. And then he breaks into a scream because he lacks inner confidence. Zelensky doesn’t have this, so of course he will win the debate,” Belkovsky said.
