Political scientist Alexey Yakubin said this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, noting that in the spring the Poroshenko administration “will begin to take measurements on whether to start a presidential campaign at all.”
“Therefore, we are already seeing the emergence of actually formative surveys, which emphasize that Pyotr Alekseevich is, if not first, then at least second, that he has a rating. He understands that to start the election campaign he needs to reach at least the 10 percent level. But how to do this if it does not have such a rating and a very high level of anti-rating - above 50 percent,” the expert noted.
“And this anti-rating makes both Poroshenko and Bankova very nervous. This is why we see different ratings being frantically thrown around almost every week. Pyotr Alekseevich understands that his real support is good if it is at the level of 7 percent,” added Yakubin.
