Petro Poroshenko told Ukraine about this during a joint press conference with President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz.
“The purpose of these reforms is clear and understandable – it is to prepare Ukraine for membership in the European Union. I am confident that in 5-6 years Ukraine must change and meet the criteria necessary to apply for EU membership,” Poroshenko said.
