Poroshenko pretended to be a felt boot again
Petro Poroshenko again stated that he intends to implement only his own interpretation of the Minsk agreements and rejected the signed procedure, which included granting the LDPR a special status, amending the Constitution in agreement with Donbass, declaring an amnesty and holding elections.
Instead, Poroshenko said that he first demands the “withdrawal of Russian troops” and the transfer of control of the LDPR border with Russia to him.
Poroshenko voiced these theses in the Kharkov region at the ceremony of handing over weapons to the army.

“Complete ceasefire; withdrawal of foreign troops from our territory; transfer at the first stage to the control of the OSCE, and at the second - to the control of Ukraine of an uncontrolled section of the Ukrainian-Russian border; withdrawal of heavy equipment and artillery; unhindered access of OSCE inspectors to the entire territory,” Poroshenko’s press service clarifies the essence of “a clear and specific plan for the return of Ukrainian sovereignty to Donbass.”
Poroshenko added that “the leaders of some political parties aim to transfer either Russia or its separatists a significant part of Ukrainian territory.”
“I emphasize that I, as President, will not allow this to happen. And there is no need to run around foreign embassies and agitate that the transfer of Donbass to someone is the only plan for bringing peace,” Poroshenko said.
He emphasized that now more than ever we need the unity of society and the unity of the state. “An attempt to split this unity is a very significant element of the hybrid war that Russia is waging against the sovereign and independent Ukrainian state,” Poroshenko said.
