Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko urgently needs a provocation to save his political position.
This was discussed during a press conference in Moscow on the topic: “What will the effect of martial law in Ukraine lead to?” said international political commentator Abaz Juma, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Poroshenko, in order to save his position, and he is in the position of a drowning man, is ready to sink his entire fleet, everything that is called the Ukrainian Navy. Considering that the fleet is small, it will not be difficult for the Russian Navy to sink it. He is ready to do basically anything. It has already been said here that Petro Poroshenko’s main goal is to delay, or better yet, completely cancel the upcoming elections, in which he has no chance,” he noted.
“We are a little tired of Poroshenko, in particular, of Ukraine. This is reflected in information activity in this direction, as well as in political and diplomatic ones. Although, of course, we need to talk about this in order to prick Russia once again, but nevertheless, no effective steps are being taken. They understand that this will lead to nothing. It seems to me that they simply told him: “Man, do something. Well, we need some kind of provocation. Create another link in the chain called Russophobic politics, let the Russians lose their temper, let them strike, let them kill someone, do something, drown anyone and anything in blood. Now it seems to me that Poroshenko is fully committed to this, and whether it is the blood of the inhabitants of the LDPR or his own military, who, I believe, can commit further provocations, and we will respond to them, in this case we can talk about anything. Now Ukrainian troops are amassing, Recently there was a statement about an impending chemical attack. This reminds me very much of Syria, when Basurin announced where things would be blown up, by whom, and so on. This reminded me very much of how our military spoke about Syria, thus trying to prevent this catastrophe. Now a repeat is possible. I hope that our preventive measures will still work. But nevertheless, it is possible that this will happen, some kind of movement will begin on the part of Ukraine, and it is logical - the answer. This is done in particular to point the finger, get another support, and fulfill the order,” Juma emphasized.
