Poroshenko has become toxic
Petro Poroshenko has ceased to be “the guy” for Western elites due to his corruption and inability to reform Ukraine after the victory of Euromaidan. Kiev political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on Topinform, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, today Poroshenko is no longer welcome in the West, as was the case in 2014.
“Peter Alekseevich is toxic in the West. Petr Alekseevich of 2018-2019 in the West is an absolutely toxic figure. This is not the man of 14, who was applauded forty times in Congress. Now this is a corrupt politician who hides money in offshore companies, who has not carried out effective reforms, who avoids and ignores pressure from the West regarding the Anti-Corruption Court and everything else, who dealt with Saakashvili, etc., etc.,” Bortnik said.
