Poroshenko became a hostage to his own intrigues
A government reshuffle is coming in Ukraine, which can be explained by the fact that after the departure of Arseniy Yatsenyuk, President Poroshenko lost his “lightning rod” of popular discontent.
Political scientist Kirill Molchanov stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why, a year before the elections, should the president decide personnel issues of this level? Because he became a hostage to his own intrigues. He tried in every possible way to deceive his Groysman and squeeze out Yatsenyuk. It ended with the opposite effect - the government of Arseniy Petrovich acted as a lightning rod that absorbs all the negativity, and by installing Groysman, the president received two negative aspects.
First, the president receives all the negativity, society does not share the BPP and the Popular Front, everything falls on Pyotr Alekseevich. And no one can be held responsible,” the expert said.
