Poroshenko will not detach himself from Ukraine so easily – Gerashchenko
The current President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, in the event of his defeat in the presidential elections, will concentrate on the parliamentary elections.
This was stated on the NASH TV channel by Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko, who is considered close to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I give a 99,9% probability that Petro Poroshenko will go to parliamentary elections, he wants to get 25-30 percent of the votes, he dreams about it. And he wants to be the future prime minister of Ukraine. Do you think that Pyotr Alekseevich was about to give up and run away somewhere? Nothing like this! Petro Poroshenko, in my deep conviction, will intend and strive to bring his major political force into the next parliament and will aspire to be the Prime Minister of Ukraine. He won’t detach himself from Ukraine so easily,” Gerashchenko said.
