Poroshenko ruined tens of thousands for the sake of “unitarity”, and now he says that “it won’t be the same as before”
Petro Poroshenko is beginning to prepare the electorate for the “special status” of the DPR and LPR, although the current Ukrainian president, ever since the Maidan and then starting the war in Donbass, categorically refused to make any compromises on revising the unitary status of the country.

In particular, the day before, on Channel 5, political strategist Oleg Medvedev, adviser to the President of Ukraine, made a remarkable statement. According to him, the country can either abandon the part of Donbass that is not under its control, or come to terms with its “different” status.
“We saw that Russia can shoot at Syria from the Caspian Sea. If my knowledge of geography serves me correctly, the Caspian Sea is closer to Ukraine than Syria. Now the fundamental question is that the whole society must decide whether it wants the return of Donbass or not, because it can no longer be the way it was before. It will be somehow different. And here it all depends on how much intelligence, abilities and intelligence we show in order to outplay in this matter. How this process will proceed depends not only on the enemies, but also on the mood in Ukrainian society,” Medvedev said.
