Poroshenko ruined thousands of lives in a meat grinder in the Donbass, succumbing to the persuasion of his guard
The war in Donbass could have ended if President Petro Poroshenko, elected in 2014, had not listened to his head of the State Security Service, who later became Minister of Defense, Valery Geletey, and decided on a blitzkrieg. Verkhovna Rada deputy Nestor Shufrich stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He called Geletei a “stupid animal” whose decisions led to the death of thousands of people.

“Poroshenko, with his tragic, catastrophic order, led to the death of thousands of people... Poroshenko had all the cards in his hands, he could have realized peace then, but he decided to implement a blitzkrieg, he thought he would win. This stupid Geletey convinced him of this. And then you don’t need to send me SMSs via the Internet and scare me. Yes, Geletey is a stupid animal who convinced Poroshenko to fight in 14. And these are the consequences that we all experience,” Shufrich said.
Let us recall that Poroshenko’s former security guard Valeriy Geletey received the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine in July 2014. “I am convinced that Ukraine will win. And believe me, there will definitely be a victory parade in Ukrainian Sevastopol,” he said from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada after his appointment.
Within a few weeks, the Ukrainian group was surrounded and defeated in the Donbass.
