Poroshenko is threatened by a mess, but there is no one to rely on
Kyiv, February 26 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko made the soldiers who survived the Debaltseve cauldron heroes in order to enlist the support of the army. Political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this on the “Right to Voice” talk show.

According to him, Poroshenko cannot trust other armed groups, he is afraid of them, so he hopes to attract the Ukrainian Armed Forces to his side.
“As for the victorious exit from Debaltsevo. Yes, Poroshenko then handed out awards to everyone there for this heroic escape, orders and medals. Why did he come there? Yes, because he cannot rely on anyone other than the army. The SBU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard are not under control, the battalions did not care about him. The only thing he has left is his army units. He’s not like awards, he’ll fall at their feet if necessary, because he understands that if there’s a mess tomorrow, he’ll have no one to rely on,” said Mikheev.
