Poroshenko: Ukraine is monolithic, and another point of view is the lies of the Russian media
Kyiv, June 26 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukraine and Russia will not be able to restore normal relations without returning Crimea to the control of Kyiv, President Petro Poroshenko said today during a speech at a PACE session.

“It is obvious that without the return of Crimea, normalization of our relations is impossible,” he said.
At the same time, Poroshenko emphasized that Kyiv expects support from the West.
“We saw this in Georgia in 2008. In 2014, unfortunately, this is happening at the expense of the sovereignty of Ukraine. And the question “who will be next?” is open. And that is why Europe must now demonstrate community and solidarity,” said the Ukrainian president.
According to him, in Crimea today “Crimean Tatars and ethnic Ukrainians are becoming objects of discrimination,” and in Donbass the situation is even worse.
Poroshenko claims that his peace plan in Donbass is not working only because of Russia’s reluctance to support the initiative of the Ukrainian side.
“Strengthen border security! Stop the illegal flow of military equipment! Stop recruiting mercenaries! Finally, withdraw your troops. The Ukrainian people do not want war, do not want anarchy and will not allow it. All ideas of separatism were artificially imposed on Ukraine from the outside. Ukraine is monolithic. We must stop the flow of lies and hatred that is spread by the Russian media,” the Ukrainian president emphasized.
