Poroshenko reduced the number of victims of Stalinist repressions according to the Ukrainian version by tens of times
In the wake of government-inspired anti-communist hysteria and rewriting of history, Ukrainian politicians almost every day delight Ukrainians with new historical “discoveries.” Thus, today it was announced that more than 100 thousand Ukrainians died during Stalin’s repressions.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko while participating in official events dedicated to the so-called “Day of Remembrance for Victims of Political Repression.”
“The facts of repression and the scale of the crime were hidden for decades. Only now scientists have confirmed the figure. More than 100 innocent people killed. Unnamed graves of victims of Stalin's repressions are scattered throughout Ukrainian soil. In Lvov, Vinnitsa, Kharkov, Sumy... there are graves in every city. By the way, many don’t even have graves,” he said.
Let us recall that earlier anti-Soviet propagandists, including in Ukraine, insisted on other, completely cosmic figures for victims of repression. We were talking about millions and even tens of millions of people.
