Poroshenko persistently drags the United States into negotiations with Russia on Donbass
Kyiv, November 05 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Negotiations regarding the conflict in Donbass must be returned to in the format of the Geneva meeting, i.e. with the participation of not only Ukraine, the Russian Federation and the EU, but also the USA.
Petro Poroshenko stated this during a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry.

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk explained why US participation in the negotiations on Donbass is so desirable. “We are not strong enough to negotiate bilaterally. The Russians are simply outplaying us, that's what they want. Putin wants another frozen conflict to emerge,” Yatsenyuk noted.
