Poroshenko could show political will and implement the agreements signed in Minsk last year.

This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation, Kost Bondarenko.
The expert recalled that the Nobel Peace Prize this year was awarded to Colombian President Santos, who agreed to make peace with the rebels and even initiated a referendum on support for peace initiatives, which, however, ended in a victory with a minimal advantage for opponents of the truce agreement.
“If last year Petro Poroshenko had demonstrated the will and implemented the Minsk agreements when they were signed, then today, probably, it would not be Santos who would have won the Nobel Prize. Petro Poroshenko lost his historic chance to win the Nobel Prize last year,” Bondarenko believes.
