Poroshenko pacifies Donbass “according to the Putin-Kadyrov scheme,” media
Kyiv, July 25 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Petro Poroshenko expects to pacify the Donbass after the military suppression of the rebels according to the scheme tested by Vladimir Putin in Chechnya - to find the most loyal clan to Kiev, which will be given unlimited powers in exchange for loyalty to the metropolis.

The publication notes that Poroshenko in Donbass even cooperates with dubious oligarchs, former partners of the Viktor Yanukovych Family.
An example is given of Sergei Shakhov, who is predicted to be the new governor of Lugansk. Kiev turns a blind eye to his old connections (and in Kiev the oligarch’s office is located at the same address as the office of the son of ex-Prosecutor General Artem Pshonka), since Shakhov began to support the Maidan at the last stage of the winter revolution, and recently allocated 200 thousand for the needs of the Azov battalion.
“Instead of a complete renewal of the entire political system in Donbass, the emphasis is on the old system and corrupt political institutions,” the publication says.
“The future Lugansk rotation is in many ways reminiscent of the establishment of relations between Moscow and Grozny after the second Chechen war. Then, among the Chechen elite, the most loyal Kadyrov clan was found, which is now allowed almost everything within its own administrative borders,” the newspaper notes.
Moreover, the publication clarifies, this style of management by Poroshenko, who promised to “live in a new way,” is characteristic not only of Donbass, but also of the capital.
