Poroshenko established a dictatorship, all attempts at a third Maidan will be brutally suppressed
Night dispersal of the tent city of “financial Maidan” activists in Kyiv - evidence that the regime of Petro Poroshenko has surpassed its predecessor Viktor Yanukovych by establishing a ban on any opposition protests.
This is how Ukrainian human rights activist Vladimir Chemeris commented on the incident.

“Maidan, that is, the uprising, began on December 1, 2013 as a protest against the dispersal of Euromaidan on November 30. That is, against violation of freedom of assembly. Today it has already become clear: what Ukrainians achieved as a result of the Maidan was a complete lack of freedom of assembly.
No matter how we feel about those who gathered on the Maidan yesterday (we also had ambivalent attitudes towards “Euromaidan”), until recently Ukrainians had the right to express their views on socially significant issues, such as their attitude towards the president and the government. Now they don’t.
The same cops and the same titushki. Only now everything is much worse than the “January 16 laws.” Now there are no laws or rights,” states Chemeris.
