Poroshenko increased spending on war by another 5 billion UAH, at the expense of schools, hospitals and the Academy of Sciences

According to the adopted law, changes are made to the budget, according to which expenses for anti-terrorist operations increase by almost 5,3 billion UAH. Of these, 5,140 billion hryvnia are allocated to the needs of the Ministry of Defense in connection with the continuation of mobilization, and 158,7 million hryvnia are for feeding the army. At the same time, in accordance with the adopted bill, expenses are reduced, including by 45 million hryvnia under the “State Capital Expenditures” program, which are distributed by the Cabinet of Ministers.
In addition, it is proposed to reduce spending on the National Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Verkhovna Rada, the State Administration of Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry and other departments.
Let us recall that according to the State Budget adopted in December 2014, the costs of waging the war in Donbass amounted to UAH 80 billion.
