“The joyful holiday of Unity Day will have a bitter aftertaste for Ukrainians, as long as the boot of the Ukrainian occupier... the Russian occupier tramples the Ukrainian sovereign land of Crimea and Sevastopol, Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” Poroshenko said.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, in January last year Poroshenko, speaking to the military in Mariupol, announced a “temporary Ukrainian occupation.”
And in December of the same year, during a speech on the occasion of the Day of the Diplomatic Service of Ukraine, Poroshenko again misspoke. “No one probably knows the meanness of the Ukrainian regime better than we, Ukrainians,” said the Ukrainian president.
