Poroshenko in Depropetrovsk admitted the failure of the Association Agreement with the EU
Entered into force and ratified by both Kiev and the EU

Petro Poroshenko stated this on Monday during a working trip to the Dnepropetrovsk region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the presidential press service.
“So far it (the Association Agreement with the EU - ed.) has only been completed by 15%. We have a lot of work ahead,” Poroshenko admitted.
He emphasized that the Association Agreement is a roadmap for Ukrainian reforms.
Let us add that the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU became fully operational on September 1. Its signing took place in two stages. On March 21, 2014, a political agreement was signed. And already on June 27 of the same year - economic. The agreement was simultaneously ratified by both Ukrainian and European parliaments on September 16, 2014.
This document also provides for a free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU. The temporary application of the Agreement took place on November 1 of the same year. At the same time, the temporary application of trade provisions began on January 1, 2016.
