The Guarantor spoke at the Royal Institute of International Affairs “Chatham House” on the topic “The Battle for Ukraine: Leadership and Solidarity against Aggression.”

In his speech, he recalled the words of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

“Churchill said in January 1942: “Everyone hopes that if he feeds a crocodile in abundance, the crocodile will eat him later than others.” There is one place where these words are especially relevant - this is Ukraine. And this crocodile, which many would like to feed so that it does not eat them today, is Russia,” said Petro Poroshenko.
