For Petro Poroshenko, early parliamentary elections, which are being increasingly talked about in the coming spring in Kyiv, are unprofitable. The new Verkhovna Rada will be even more opposed to the head of state.

Political scientist Kost Bondarenko said this on the air of the “Working on Mistakes” program.

According to him, in the event of re-elections to the Rada, it will become uncontrollable by the president.

“Poroshenko wonderfully understands that elections are unprofitable now. The only ones who may benefit from these elections are “Batkivshchyna”, “Svoboda”, the same “Right Sector” (which will act together with “Svoboda”), the “Opposition Bloc” and several other projects, like the same “Ukrop” ”, which can also hit. That is, the Rada will become oppositional to the president, but he doesn’t need that,” Bondarenko said.
