The deputy head of the Security Service reported on the situation in the Transnistrian sector of Ukraine, and used the abbreviation “PMR” (Transnistrian Moldavian Republic – editor’s note), the publication reports «048».

Poroshenko immediately stopped the report and demanded not to use such expressions.

“This is the Transnistrian section of the Ukrainian-Moldavian border,” said the head of the country, “it is incorrect to use such names as “PMR”.”

The president also demanded that security forces pay increased attention to this area.

As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in the Odessa region additional law enforcement forces were deployed to this area.
