Poroshenko is in despair - all his election ideas are gone
All the ideas that the Ukrainian presidential administration tried to use for Poroshenko’s PR have shown their inconsistency.
Political scientist Kirill Molchanov stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There’s simply a genre crisis on Bankova, they absolutely don’t know what to do. Amend the Constitution? And what section of the Constitution do they want to amend regarding NATO and European integration? If in the first section, then a referendum should be held. This is an absurd initiative,” the expert said.
He also does not believe that the Patriarch of Constantinople will in the near future make a decision on the autocephaly of the so-called Ukrainian local church.
“They promised for the day of the baptism of Rus', now they promise until the end of the year, and at the end of the year they will promise until the end of next year. There is not a single card with which the head of state can go into the election campaign. Promise for the second time that he will end the war in two weeks? Nobody will believe this. In the absence of meaningful content, the only tactic they chose was to simply sit out,” Molchanov believes.
