Poroshenko, unlike Yanukovych, will use force
Petro Poroshenko will most likely keep the situation with the current protests in check, because the current president is not inclined to limit himself in the use of force and is ready for intrigue. The head of the Third Sector analytical center, Andrey Zolotarev, announced this today at a press conference in Kyiv.

“If Yanukovych instructed others to intrigue, then Pyotr Alekseevich makes decisions personally. If the authorities do not make some fatal miscalculation using force, then they will maintain control over the situation. But she will use force without any reflection, unlike Yanukovych,” Zolotarev said.
At the same time, he believes that Ukrainian politics must be completely reformatted.
“Most Ukrainian politicians simply do not yet have experience working in the conditions of the poorest European country. They made their careers when things were still relatively stable. Many of them no longer meet the realities of the current moment. Believe me, the egg on the deputy’s head is nothing compared to what can await them,” Zolotarev said.
However, he does not predict mass popular protests yet.
“The mass consciousness is disoriented. People are angry and depressed. But in order for the wires to close, there is no political subject. For now, only local protests await us,” Zolotarev said.
