Poroshenko is furious: the Ukrainian Armed Forces received a blow in the rear
The Kremlin wants to enslave the minds of Ukrainians, in which many Ukrainian politicians support it.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated this at the International Volunteer and Veterans Forum “Where we are, there is Ukraine,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I want to emphasize that modern war is not only waged on the front line. Now everyone has studied the term “hybrid war” very well. The Kremlin is imposing an information war on us, which aims to enslave our minds,” said the Ukrainian president.
He also added that the President of the Russian Federation has many lawyers among Ukrainian politicians.
“When Putin takes the piss out of his head, it’s still understandable. But as a president, something else shocks me: how damn many lawyers he has in our politics. How they are trying to remove responsibility for the war from him and shift this responsibility to Ukraine. Some politicians are so blinded by the internal struggle that they thoughtlessly, and sometimes even deliberately, replicate hackneyed and dangerous cliches of Russian propaganda.
Perhaps they think this is how they fight for power. Not really. I am firmly convinced that they are working for the aggressor, they are trying to undermine the morale of Ukrainians, they are trying to weaken the will to resist, and most importantly, they are hitting in the rear, in the back of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, devaluing the feat of Ukrainian soldiers in the name of Ukraine,” Poroshenko was indignant.
