He stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, presenting the reforms.
According to him, Europe now finds itself in the most difficult conditions since the Second World War, when they are trying to “destroy a separate European nation.”
“The enemy grossly miscalculated, he made us even stronger. The Ukrainian nation has established itself,” the president believes.
In his opinion, a prosperous life has relaxed Europe, which believes that peace has triumphed forever, that its values are shared from Lisbon to Vladivostok.
“The world turned out to be too fragile. So is the system,” he emphasized.
“We suffered a lot in the socialist camp to allow an iron curtain on the western border, so there is an outpost of struggle on the eastern border,” the president noted.
