Poroshenko topped the anti-rating of politicians, with Vakarchuk and Zelensky among the favorites
Half of the residents of Ukraine surveyed by sociologists would under no circumstances vote for the current president of the country, Petro Poroshenko.
This is evidenced by the results of a sociological survey conducted by the sociological group “Rating,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Poroshenko is the leader in the anti-rating of voter sympathy with an anti-rating of 45,3%. He is followed by Yatsenyuk (26%), Lyashko (25%) and Tymoshenko (24%), whose anti-rating is almost half as low. The anti-rating of Tyagnibok (18%), Boyko (17%) and Rabinovich (16%) is even lower. The anti-rating of other candidates fluctuates between 8-11%.
New faces in Ukrainian politics enjoy a high level of trust among citizens. 33% of respondents trust Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, 47% do not trust him, 32% trust Vladimir Zelensky, 50% do not trust him.
Anatoly Gritsenko is trusted by 26%, Yulia Tymoshenko - 20%, Oleg Lyashko - 17%, Yuriy Boyko - 18%, Vladimir Groysman - 17%, Andrey Sadovoy - 17%, Vadim Rabinovich - 14%, Valentin Nalyvaichenko - 14%, Petro Poroshenko – 13%, Oleg Tyagnibok – 11%, Arseniy Yatsenyuk – 8%.
Tymoshenko is in the lead in the presidential rating, about 9% of all respondents are ready to support her, Gritsenko - 7%, Boyko, Vakarchuk, Zelensky - 6% each, Poroshenko, Lyashko - 5%, Rabinovich - 4%, Sadovoy - 2%, Nalyvaichenko, Tyagnibok , Yatsenyuk - 1%, another candidate - 11%, another third - undecided or are not going to vote.
At the same time, among those who intend to vote and have made their choice, support for candidates is: Tymoshenko - about 14%, Gritsenko - 11%, Boyko, Poroshenko, Vakarchuk - 9%, Zelensky, Lyashko - 8%, Rabinovich - 6 %.
The leader of the so-called The “second choice” (that is, who the voter would vote for if his candidate is not on the list) is the showman Zelensky; he could be supported by up to 6% of those who would not find their main favorite on the list of candidates. About 4% of respondents under such conditions could vote for Tymoshenko, Vakarchuk, Gritsenko and Lyashko, 2% each for Rabinovich, Boyko, Sadovoy, Tyagnibok, Poroshenko and Nalyvaichenko.
“It should be noted that supporters of “new” candidates, provided that their favorite does not participate, are more likely to vote for “new faces” than for individuals who have long been present in Ukrainian politics - less than a third of Vakarchuk’s supporters can vote for Zelensky,” comments Deputy Director of the sociological group “Rating” Lyubomir Mysov.
The survey was conducted from April 10 to April 22, 2018 using a personal formal interview (face-to-face). Audience: Ukrainian population aged 18 years and older. The sample is representative by age, gender, region and type of settlement. Sample population: 6000 respondents. Error in the representativeness of the study: no more than 1.5%.
