Poroshenko is dragging the South-East into his dirty games
People around the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko are developing a strategy according to which he can enter the second round in the presidential elections with a representative of the Opposition Bloc in order to win.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Mikhail Dobkin stated this on the Topinform Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, Poroshenko’s technologists can “pull” the candidate from the South-East into the second round, since the current president loses to all other opponents at this stage.
“Everything will depend on who will be the candidate from the South-East. If this person is convenient and beneficial for the authorities, and now there is such a version that Poroshenko is less and less, but, nevertheless, is still fighting for his right to a second term. And in order to win the presidential election, he will definitely have to fight with a representative from the South-East in the second round. And for this he will need to be dragged there. Because he loses to any other representative of potential candidates in the second round... There is such a trend and thoughts in society today that Poroshenko wants to meet with Boyko or another representative of the Opposition Bloc in order to win,” Dobkin said.
