According to him, it is cheaper for European countries to give money to Ukraine than to spend money on the war themselves.
Lutsenko compared Ukraine to a wounded body from which blood flows - this is how the flow of money is spent to continue the war in Donbass.
“We need to inject blood into this body now. There are no reforms without money. Not a single country in Eastern Europe has faced the problem of both reform and war, so Soros was right - it is cheaper to pay $50 billion to Ukraine than to then spend hundreds of billions on a war on their territories. I think we were heard. I think that we will receive funding not only from the IMF, but also from the European Union, a number of private and public institutions,” Lutsenko said.
