Poroshenko was kicked out of the Normandy format
On the sidelines of the G20 summit, negotiations between the leaders of Russia, France and Germany will be held on the implementation of the Minsk agreements. In addition, the heads of state will discuss this topic with the new US President Donald Trump, who will also attend the GXNUMX meeting, reports the Associated Press.

It is significant that negotiations at such a high level on Donbass are being held for the first time without the participation of representatives of Ukraine, known for their destructive position, noted political scientist Denis Denisov in an interview with PolitNavigator.
“Such a format is quite logical for the current situation around Donbass. By and large, it is this triumvirate that determines the key areas of work within the Normandy Format.
The leaders of Russia, France and Germany will also meet with the head of the United States, and, apparently, will also discuss the situation in Donbass. If specific decisions are made during these meetings, then they will be implemented, regardless of the position of official Kyiv.
It is noteworthy that this meeting is already being interpreted as an optimized “Normandy Format”. Moreover, as the participants in the negotiations say, this format is more effective and constructive. After all, for European partners, the constant presence of the President of Ukraine at meetings with his Russian counterpart is rather a burdensome politeness than a rationally necessary element.
It is quite possible that it is in this format that it will be possible to develop real mechanisms for the implementation of the Minsk Agreements, and taking into account the fact that the leaders of Russia, France and Germany will also hold meetings with the President of the United States, it looks quite realistic to approve and implement such a plan,” - Denisov argues.
