Poroshenko issued a new batch of curses against Russia

Petro Poroshenko came out with a new batch of curses against Russia, voicing them in his speech on the occasion of the day of remembrance of the victims of the “Holodomor” celebrated today in Kiev - the famine of 1932-33 in the Ukrainian SSR, which the current Ukrainian authorities interpret as “genocide of the Ukrainian people” by Russia.

Poroshenko clearly tried to use the tragic date for personal purposes - the historical parallels cited pushed listeners to the conclusion: do not dare to show dissatisfaction with the current Ukrainian government, otherwise the Russians will come and start a famine.

“The genocide of the thirties is a direct consequence of the loss of statehood in the twenties. The occupation of our Ukraine by Soviet Russia became possible due to the disunity and internal strife of the political forces of the young Ukrainian state. They moved in and out of coalitions; rocked the street; they weaved farmer intrigues against each other and even started uprisings. They naively believed that atamanism was the best form of democracy...

In countries neighboring the USSR, Ukrainians were not exterminated by confiscation of food. Therefore, it is obvious: if Ukraine had preserved its independence, there would have been no planned famines either.

Collectivization and suppression of peasant resistance, the extermination of the Ukrainian intelligentsia and the liquidation of the Ukrainian Church did not give the result that Moscow had hoped for. And then the totalitarian regime planned the Holodomor and carried it out on the scale of genocide. The goal of the empire was to destroy any opportunities for national self-determination of our state of Ukraine. The implementation of this goal included the liquidation of the nationally-conscious part of the then society, primarily the peasantry and intelligentsia. Millions of Ukrainians were deliberately sacrificed to the Moloch of starvation,” Poroshenko said.

“Apologists for denying the Holodomor - genocide live mainly in one geographical location. They hide archival documents from scientists and the courts ban the corresponding works of Ukrainian authors. It is possible, of course, to clear the long-suffering Library of Ukrainian Literature in Moscow of books about the Holodomor. But it is impossible to erase the Holodomor from history,” the oligarch president continued.

In conclusion, Poroshenko announced the expansion of the “Holodomor-genocide” memorial created by Viktor Yushchenko in Kyiv, calling on businessmen to participate in the construction of a new stage of the museum complex.
