Kyiv, December 29 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Petro Poroshenko, with noticeable irritation at the final press conference, answered a question from a journalist from the STB television channel about how one can live on a minimum wage of 1217 UAH - $64 per month.

“$64 is the salary of third world countries,” the journalist noted.

“How to live on 1200 UAH minimum wage? I’m sure you can’t live on this money in Europe, and it’s not easy here. “Everything we can do so that no one lives on the minimum wage,” the Ukrainian president had to wriggle out.

According to him, the Verkhovna Rada has reduced taxes, and now businesses must declare the real, and not the minimum, salaries of their employees.
