“I am confident that I have the most reliable information about the ATO, because I have direct contact with every commander and speak with them often. I monitor social networks in my free 2 hours, so I am sure that I am always aware of events,” the president is confident.
Petro Poroshenko believes that the ATO is in no way directed against Russia.
“We must understand that everything we do in the east is not directed against Russia. All our actions are aimed at the benefit of Ukraine. We have achieved a lot - we have revived the army, which did not exist a few months ago - we can now talk about this openly. We have learned to fight back in the information war,” says Poroshenko.
President Poroshenko also stated that Ukraine will definitely fight against the annexation of Crimea by Russia, since, according to the president: “Our land has no value. It's not for sale. But we can already talk about the losses that are inflicted on us every day. Only for the Chernomorneftegaz enterprise, an enterprise in which we invested large sums, losses in the tens of millions of dollars are caused to Ukraine every day.”
As Navigator reported, information about the successes of the ATO forces had previously appeared on the official website of the president, after which it was refuted by the militias. In addition, Poroshenko’s statement about providing assistance to brigades surrounded in Donbass was refuted by the military themselves.
