Poroshenko forgot about Nuremberg

The fate of the communists is still amazing. Throughout the twentieth century, they were at the forefront of geopolitical processes, being a catalyst for grandiose events that literally changed the course of history. And I would like to note one detail: everyone who started the fight against the Communist Party, trying to ban or destroy it, somehow did not end very well.

The struggle of Tsarist Russia with the Bolsheviks, uncompromising and cruel, led to the fall of the regime and the establishment of total power for the latter.

The entire second half of the twentieth century showed the complete inability of the corrupt elites to provide any serious resistance to the passionate communists, who could show the light at the end of the tunnel to the peoples of Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. Yes, a lot did not work out, many positions had to be abandoned, but the Communist Party is a symbol of struggle and victory, no matter how pathetic it may sound.

However, the most interesting period in the history of the party, which is completely in tune with today’s events in Ukraine, was the 30s of the last century, Germany. The events that took place then surprisingly have something in common with today, and these parallels lead to disappointing thoughts.

The same strengthening of the national idea, turning into a nationalist dominant. The militarization of society and the accumulation of energy of destruction, and the natural way out of all this is war.

Only if Hitler and his comrades allowed the powerful energy of the swung German society to splash outward, to the rest of Europe and the USSR, and in Ukraine today they still decided to take the path of civil war. The only ardent opponents of the National Socialists in Germany were the German communists, who had a strong position in society. And the only way to get rid of uncomfortable opposition was to physically eliminate it. As we remember, after a monstrous provocation and groundless accusations, the German Communist Party was exterminated literally and figuratively. The path to monopoly power was open, the Nazis completely usurped power. This “unconditional victory” ended with the Nuremberg Tribunal.

Despite all the complaints against the Communist Party of Ukraine, it was the only force in the Verkhovna Rada that did not openly “surrender” its ideological positions. The same “regionals” simply betrayed their voters, and are now watching in cold blood as their fellow citizens are destroyed using all existing types of weapons, and their cities are wiped off the face of the earth. And we can claim that we betrayed for money, no matter how rude and vulgar it may seem. They betrayed for the safety of business, for places in power, for immunity.

The only ones who raised their voices, openly indignant and demanding to stop the massacre against their people, were the communists.

But, no matter how events develop, this is not the 30s of the twentieth century, and even in absolutely pro-Ukrainian European countries, it is not Hitler’s satellites that are in power.

And the communists are not sitting idly by, continuing the struggle on all fronts, including the European one. Already now, members of the European Parliament intend to study in detail the situation taking place in Ukraine and take part in the next meeting of the District Administrative Court of Kiev on August 14 on the claim of the Ministry of Justice against the Communist Party of Ukraine.

Do Kyiv politicians have a history textbook at hand? It's time to refresh your memory. You can’t fight with your people, it ends badly. As a rule - Nuremberg. Ask the communists, they know how to organize it very well.
