This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management Ruslan Bortnik.
“Before our eyes, the process of forming Poroshenko’s political and economic family is being completed,” the expert believes. – The appointment of Gritsak to the SBU, Lutsenko as Prosecutor General, Groysman as Prime Minister of Ukraine, and, finally, the replacement of Lozhkin is the process of completing the legalization of the president’s inner circle in senior positions. This process is quite systemic, and it will have very serious consequences. Today, the president was actually able to form an absolutely closed cycle of power around himself, which left not only opponents, but even people capable of expressing their opinions.”
“The family has completed its formation, but it is quite isolated, very unpopular not only in society, but also in political and business circles. Will she be able to resist? I don’t think he can,” Bortnik concluded.
