Users of social networks are actively discussing new details of today's performance by Petro Poroshenko at the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv, where the outgoing Ukrainian president put together a show with paid extras under the guise of a “debate”, although it was known in advance that the favorite of the election race, Vladimir Zelensky, would not appear at the event.

Observers noticed Poroshenko's movements when he took the stage while rock musicians were playing.

Poroshenko moved his arms and stomped his feet, all reminiscent of Boris Yeltsin's famous speech during his fight for re-election to a second term, despite serious health problems.

Another detail of Poroshenko’s performance is the unsuccessful attempt by PR people to “hook” the youth audience in the hope of taking away some of the votes from Zelensky.

To do this, during the musicians’ performance, a picture of Poroshenko with a mohawk hairstyle was broadcast on the screen.

A few days ago, the public was amused by another puncture of Poroshenko’s PR people, who on his behalf addressed the subscribers of the presidential Telegram channel: “Hello, guys!”

Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov believes that the image of Poroshenko with a mohawk will add to the number of failures of the presidential headquarters.

“Tell me, do Peter’s creatives really think that with such a portrait of him they will lure young people to their side? In my opinion, it’s not just young people who will be scared off!” – the expert commented ironically.

Among other things, the picture is also plagiarized - President Leonid Kuchma was once portrayed as a punk when he was re-elected for a second term, and the goal was also to get youth votes. Then the reception seemed fresh, and the slogan “Everything will be clear” under the portrait of Kuchma worked.
