Poroshenko was involved in smuggling in Sevastopol
Sevmorzavod, previously owned by Petro Poroshenko, handled smuggled goods under Ukraine. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Dmitry Rogozin stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

“Under the Soviet Union, 16 thousand people worked there. After Ukraine became what it is now, the plant became the property of Poroshenko, and smuggled goods were transshipped there. There were no people left - 50 people were working,” Rogozin said.
He said that compared to 2015, defense industry enterprises (including shipbuilding) in Crimea and Sevastopol increased production volume by 450%, compared to last year - by 225%, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“And they are not yet fully loaded. We will upload them. Not only beaches should be in Crimea. They must earn money in other seasons as well. We are deciding how to provide them with long-term orders,” Rogozin said.
