As noted, we are talking about the law “On the ratification of the Convention between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion regarding taxes on income and capital and the Protocol between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on amendments to the Convention between the Government Ukraine and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion regarding taxes on income and capital.”
It is stated that the document “contributes to the creation of an effective bilateral legal framework for avoiding double taxation, preventing tax evasion, as well as mutually reducing tax barriers to foreign investment and trade.”
Earlier, on March 14, the Rada ratified the convention with Luxembourg on the avoidance of double taxation.
