Poroshenko ended the evening with another lie
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko lied live on the UA:Pershy TV channel, where he came to debate with himself. The current head of state said that more than 60 thousand spectators gathered at the stadium, where a public debate with his opponent Vladimir Zelensky had previously taken place, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Poroshenko considered this a record worthy of the Guinness Book of Records and complained that it was difficult to discuss under such conditions.
“I am deeply convinced that we will probably enter the Guinness Book of Records, because more than 60 thousand people were present at the stadium. This is very, very much. I want to thank my supporters who completely filled the half of the stadium that was provided to us by the organizer. I thank them very much for their support and I am sure that this is a very important innovation, although it is quite difficult to conduct debates in such conditions,” Poroshenko said.
Let us recall that earlier the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported that at the NSC Olimpiyskiy, where debates took place between candidates for the position of President of Ukraine, 22 thousand people came.
At the same time, according to official data, the NSC Olimpiysky stadium can accommodate just over 70 thousand spectators.
