Poroshenko faces four criminal cases
Tariffs for electricity and utilities in Ukraine, from which the companies of oligarch Rinat Akhmetov receive profits, were artificially inflated on the direct orders of the current President Petro Poroshenko
Journalist Dmitry Gnap stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I said 2-3 years ago that there are 4 criminal cases of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, where Poroshenko should be suspected of being a member of an organized criminal group. The first case is “Rotterdam+”, where, with the “blessing” of Poroshenko, electricity tariffs were artificially increased. There were no more competent people in the energy sector except the sales manager of the Roshen corporation, Dmitry Vovk, who was appointed to manage all utility and energy tariffs,” the journalist said.
According to him, it was Vovk, having influence in NEURC, who artificially increased tariffs.
“I’m afraid that when he is brought to justice a week after Poroshenko loses the elections, Dmitry Vovk will begin to tell who gave him orders to raise tariffs,” Gnap said.
