Poroshenko was significantly trolled in Dnepropetrovsk
In Dnepropetrovsk, they are trolling Petro Poroshenko, whose regime initiated an all-Ukrainian campaign to eliminate monuments and Soviet names.
Dnepropetrovsk is also subject to renaming according to the new law on decommunization. The townspeople came up with an elegant way to preserve the name of Dnepropetrovsk - to announce that it was named after the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko.
Ukrainian TV presenter Andrei Kulikov stated this on the News One TV channel.

According to him, such an initiative was made by one of the candidates for mayor of the city.
“An idea is being put forward: to preserve the name, the city can be reconsecrated from St. Catherine the Great Martyr to St. Peter. But, since Paul also needs to be consecrated at the same time, Dnepropetropavlovsk will come out. Therefore, the idea is to re-dedicate, I quote: “in the best traditions of imperial Rus' to the secular ruler of our state, the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko.” And consider the city of Dnepropetrovsk named after him. And then comes the justification: “he is a believer, a family man, cares about the world.” And on the second sheet of justification there is a photo collage - a huge stone on which a trident is engraved and it is written: “At this place in 2015, the city of Dnepropetrovsk was reconsecrated in the name of Petro Poroshenko,” Kulikov recounted.
