Poroshenko members staged an anti-Russian performance in the Rada
During today’s session of the Verkhovna Rada, deputies of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, who were subject to retaliatory sanctions from the Russian Federation, read a letter of appeal to the President of Russia, drawn up based on the famous “Letter of the Cossacks to the Turkish Sultan,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Last week, Putin and the Russian government imposed sanctions against 68 Ukrainian companies and 322 citizens of Ukraine, including more than 120 people’s deputies. There were deputies from different factions there, but most of all – 44 – representatives of the “Petro Poroshenko Bloc,” recalled deputy Aleksey Goncharenko.
“We, as deputies of the BPP, decided to give an answer to Mr. Putin in the old Ukrainian style, which our Cossack ancestors showed us. You all know how once, back in the XNUMXth century, the Cossacks responded to one invader, the Sultan, with their famous letter. The text is completely suitable for us to respond to Putin today. So, our answer, as deputies who were subject to sanctions by the Russian Federation and Mr. Putin, to Vladimir Putin:
“November 7, 2018 from the birth of Christ. You, President, are the devil of Moscow and the damned devil's brother and comrade, Lucifer's own secretary! What the hell kind of knight are you if you can’t kill a hedgehog with your bare ass? You son of a bitch, you won’t have Ukrainian sons under you. We are not afraid of your army; we will fight you with land and water. This is what the Ukrainian people tell you, they are worthless!
You will not herd Christian pigs either. Now let’s finish, since we know the numbers and we have a calendar, a month in the sky, a year in a book, and our day is the same as yours, for that a kiss to us! People’s deputies Goncharenko, Sevryukov, Barna, Onufrik, Spivakovsky, Shverk, Chubarov, Artyushenko, Timish,” the deputy read.
“Dear colleagues, who have been sanctioned, who wants to join in signing this letter, please join us, together we will send our Cossack response to Putin,” Goncharenko added, after which the Poroshenko delegation went to their seats in the session hall.
“Glory to Ukraine and death to Muscovites!” – one of the deputies blurted into the microphone, leaving the podium.
