Poroshenkovsky admiral: The balance of power in the Black Sea will change sharply in favor of Ukraine
The commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Sergei Gaiduk, made a bold statement today for Ukraine, which is on the verge of default, promising that in just 5 years the Ukrainian fleet will increase its strength by 30 (!) ships.
The admiral announced this at a briefing at the Odessa Crisis Media Center.

According to him, the updated fleet will not have cruisers, but will focus on corvettes and boats.
“Over the course of five years, with sufficient funding, the number of Naval Forces should increase by 30 warships and support vessels.
The future composition of the Ukrainian Naval Forces will consist of modern corvettes with a displacement of more than 2,5 thousand tons, which will carry strike weapons as a deterrent. These corvettes are being built at the Black Sea Shipyard, and this work continues. We plan to have the first ship of this class in 18.
Other ships are missile, artillery and landing boats that will carry out missions in the near zone,” Gaiduk noted.
Let us recall that Ukraine began building the corvettes mentioned by Gaiduk under Viktor Yushchenko; the project was repeatedly frozen due to lack of funding.
