Poroshenko's magazine accused Avakov of lying and corruption
Kiev, October 14 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The magazine “Novoe Vremya”, loyal to Petro Poroshenko, criticized Arsen Avakov for the unsuccessful trial of the commander of the Berkut special company Dmitry Sadovnik, who was under investigation on charges of involvement in the shooting of Maidan activists who attacked units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on February 20.

The magazine draws attention to the fact that the Berkut member was first released for subscription, and then disappeared completely. The publication blames the new leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for this, allegedly in this way trying to gain support within the department.
“The public hoped that the new minister would first clear out the Augean stables, then announce a reform program and fight for its implementation,” the publication writes. – In fact, we see something else – integration into the system of lies and corruption. Before our eyes, the supposedly nominated Maidan exchanged the need to punish criminals from his system for their loyalty. I would ask my predecessor Yuriy Lutsenko - many generals and colonels remembered him when he needed their support.”
In the upcoming elections to the Verkhovna Rada, Arsen Avakov is a member of the Popular Front party, which competes with the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.
