Portnikov cries that the international community will eventually recognize the independence of Donbass
In Kyiv they are worried that global trends in geopolitics are leading to the fact that international law regarding autonomies may be changed in such a way that Crimea will have to be forgotten.

The famous Kiev propagandist Vitaly Portnikov stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to him, today everything is moving towards the fact that yesterday’s autonomies can become sovereign states.
“We ignore many realities that are happening in the modern world and that need to be talked about. And this needs to be answered at the legislative level. The processes that are taking place today around the sovereignty of autonomies - both the relations between Serbia and Kosovo, and what is happening today with the Catalan autonomy in Spain, can change international law in such a way that they will close the corridor of opportunities that we, in principle, have in reintegration of Crimea. “I urge the Ukrainian parliament to think now about the legal design of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in such a way as to remember that this autonomy, after all, was created for the Crimean Tatar people, and not for the abstract population of Crimea,” Portnikov said.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Portnikov painted a gloomy picture of Ukraine's encirclement from all sides by pro-Russian countries.
