Portnov went to Zelensky and received a painting to be painted
Ukrainian lawyer and ex-deputy head of Presidential Administration Viktor Yanukovych Andrei Portnov today visited the Office of President Vladimir Zelensky on Bankova Street in Kyiv, a tPolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Portnov himself informed subscribers of his Telegram channel about this.
“Friends, I inform you that today I visited the office of the President of Ukraine. Our meeting with the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Kirill Tymoshenko, took place following the results of the previous meeting of the Council for Freedom of Speech and Protection of Journalists, during which Radio Liberty functionaries misinformed the country’s leadership about problems with the safety of their journalists.
At today’s meeting, I expressed counter-concern about the situation with freedom of speech, the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens, the increasing incidence of obstruction of professional advocacy and journalistic activities, unlawful interference in the private life of citizens and the conduct of illegal operational and technical activities under the guise of journalistic activity.
As an example, he cited the case of illegal activities of persons hiding behind the status of journalists of the odious Radio Liberty and expressed hope for a quick and effective investigation by the National Police of their illegal activities,” Portnov wrote.
Portnov also published in his telegram channel his own photo with a painting of Petro Poroshenko in his hands. “On Bankova they gave out a painting for painting,” reads the ironic caption under the photo.
