Five thousand law enforcement officers will protect order during the elections in Crimea

According to the department, on Sunday 1205 polling stations will be opened in the Republic of Crimea, 43 of which are temporary.
In total, it is planned to involve about five thousand employees of internal affairs bodies and military personnel of the internal troops, and more than 200 employees of private security organizations during the elections in the republic.
The police ensure interaction with election commissions to exercise the electoral rights of citizens.
“To date, police officers have carried out commission inspections of the premises of polling stations for technical strength and equipment with technical security equipment. Organized close interaction with local governments on issues related to the conduct of elections.
Each polling station is assigned to heads of departments responsible for maintaining public order and ensuring public safety during the preparation and conduct of a single voting day,” the message says.
