During the press conference of the DPR Prime Minister, journalists raised the issue of the inaction of the police, courts and prosecutor's office. In response to the comment that the situation in the legal sphere is close to collapse, Alexander Borodai replied: “You are a little wrong here. These structures exist, but now a creative process is underway, and these structures are actually being created anew. The prosecutor's office is already working for us, and I can say that it is quite effective.
As for the courts, the situation here is more complicated, but we are actively working in this direction. As for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, I can say that joint patrols of police officers and the Republican Guard “Oplot” are already maintaining order on the streets.
There is good potential and good personnel here. “I want to say that the majority of the Donetsk police did not go over to the enemy’s side, despite the blackmail, threats and provocations of the officers.”
As Navigator reported, earlier the DPR government stated that some police officers took the oath of allegiance to the republic. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, 600 law enforcement officers were dismissed from the authorities.
