TV channel 112 reports this, citing information received from the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ilya Kiva.
“The search is now over. I know that his son Alexander should be sent to court. They want to deprive him of his freedom in order to be able to manipulate the minister and be able to put pressure on his decision. Alexander was detained. As far as I know, the search did not yield any results, so phones and tablets were confiscated. I know this 100%, because I am in direct contact and communicate,” Kiva said.
According to information that appeared earlier, a search of Avakov was carried out earlier in connection with an investigation into the purchase of backpacks that the Ministry of Internal Affairs purchased from a company controlled by the Avakov family.
It is noteworthy that on the same day the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs ordered the removal of the cordon and fences, standing along the perimeter of the Saakashists’ tent camp near the Verkhovna Rada.
“We no longer intend to waste state resources and continue to protect this rubbish under the Rada,” Avakov said.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko, close to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, voiced open threats against Petro Poroshenko.
